                            Hello and Welcome!

      I am Chef Steven Ferneding, I am seeking a protégé position with a chef who is willing to share their expertise in fine dining cuisine. I am also looking to explore the restaurant industries culinary artists and learn about the imaginative dishes being introduced. In doing so I am hoping to return to yachting where I can provide my guests with top quality service and innovative delicacies.

      Since I have been in the yachting industry, I have worked on M/Y Winning Drive 130,' M/Y Strait Jacket 110,’ M/Y Seas the Moment 70,’ M/Y Cachee 124,' and sport fishing boats such as Anticipation 38’, A Hooker 38.’ I have completed the STCW 95’ and the Tender Operator RHIB course at the Maritime Professional Training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

      I have graduated from The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Program at the top of my class with honors in Portland, Oregon. Worked in San Diego's premier seafood restaurant "The  Oceanaire" and worked along side of "San Diego's Top Chef". I have been presented with awards for outstanding performance and grades while in school. I am also trained and certified in SERVSAFE's Food Protection Manager Certification Program.

        I love traveling the world, meeting new people, engaging in other cultures, cooking and integrating local ingredients from different locations and incorporating them into an assortment of healthy gourmet meals for my guests.
